I get to talk to government agency in a case where my own investigation shows thatmy client is wrong in a way that makes me cringe. The agency has been aggressive, but won’t tell us what they know. Do they known what I know, or are they bluffing to see if we will settle?
As you other attorney Oppos know, only sometimes do truth, justice, and appropriate accountability come into it. My client was wrong in this one, but my job is to solve the problem they created for themselves.
